Good Soil is a movement among smaller to mid-size congregations in the East District UMC seeking to become less focused on maintenance and more dedicated and committed to engaging in the mission of God in the world. The G.S. process involves a group commitment to regular prayer, Bible study, worship, and outreach. Our Good Soil Team processes our missional ministry together each year through four Spirit-led seasons: 1. DISCERN, 2. PLAN, 3. GO, SOW & GROW and 4. DELIGHT. The goal is to get into a rhythm together of seeking God and what He desires Bonita to do with the resources He provides. We then step into our own backyard, build relationships and share resources for Jesus Christ as His witnesses of love and reconciliation. Easy, fun, enriching, fulfilling.
